Trucheck Intelli can find over 70 types of solid organ cancers.
It detects common cancers such as Breast, Lung, Bowel, Prostate, and many other cancers which are not routinely screened for.
These cancers account for 81% of all cancer cases globally and include several types of aggressive cancer.
When cancer is present in someone, it sheds tiny cells and tumour fragments into the bloodstream, called circulating tumour cells (CTCs).
These cells are the main reason cancer eventually spreads in the body, especially if they move in clusters (a group).
Trucheck can detect them from your blood sample and indicate the likely organ of origin.
Healthcare professionals can then carry out targeted follow up investigations and treat patients if necessary.
Many cancers are without a current screening process for early detection. Some cancers cause no symptoms until they have spread throughout the body.
Trucheck intelli is a simple revolutionary blood test which can help you find cancer early, before you show symptoms.
It also looks for multiple cancers, many of which are not covered in routine screening.
The test can help avoid late cancer detection which can lead to intensive and expensive treatments.
1 in 2 people in the UK, born after 1960, will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
Currently, almost half of those people are diagnosed after the cancer has spread.
Finding cancer early, before you have symptoms, can significantly improve your chances of survival.
You can request the TruCheck test by clicking ‘Get started’ at the top of this page. You will be asked to fill in your details, which includes some clinical questions to determine your eligibility. Your request will then be reviewed to determine your eligibility. If the TruCheck test is suitable for you, we will then arrange to visit you to take a blood draw by one of our trained professionals. We will then take your blood sample to the laboratory where it will be analysed. Results are usually available two weeks later.
No. It is only suitable for people who have not had cancer.
You should discuss this with your Doctor. It can be part of your yearly check-up.
No. It is designed to be used in addition to, and not replace, conventional screening.
Trucheck Intelli will detect the cancers it screens for 95% of the time.
There is a possibility that in around 1% of cases the test may show positive, but cancer is not actually present.
The TruCheck Intelli test, which is the most comprehensive test available, is £1190.
As part of the test price, your request will be reviewed to determine eligibility for the test (you will receive a full refund if you are not eligible). We will arrange a trained professional to visit you to take a blood sample. We will then transport your blood sample to the laboratory on the same day using cold storage to ensure your sample reaches the lab in optimal condition. The laboratory will then analyse your sample. Results will then be provided to you within two weeks. If you receive a positive result, we will arrange a follow up consultation to explain your next steps. This is all included in the test price. There are no hidden costs.
You can get a full refund within 30 days as long as the lab has not started analysing your sample. Please see our refund policy for more details.
If it’s determined that the test is not suitable for you (eg. you are already receiving treatment for cancer) then you will receive a full refund within 10 working days.
Click ‘Get Started’ at the top of this page. You will be guided through our booking portal which contains a number of questions which help to determine if the test is suitable for you. It will take approximately 10 minutes and should be completed in one sitting.
We will determine if you’re eligible for the test, this usually takes a maximum of 3 working days. If you are eligible then we will contact you to arrange a convenient time to visit you to take a blood sample, or you can arrange your own blood draw if preferred. If you are not eligible then you will receive a full refund.
A trained professional will take a small blood sample from your arm. The appointment shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes.
The person performing your blood draw will take your sample and pass it to our medical courier where it is then transported the same day to the laboratory. By transporting it the same day, we ensure the most accurate results as long delays between a blood draw and delivery can cause blood samples to deteriorate.
You will typically receive your results within two weeks from your blood draw.
A positive result means the test has detected an indication of cancer. Your Doctor should discuss with you suitable next steps to confirm if cancer is present.
A negative result means the test detected no evidence of cancer when you took the test.
If you receive a positive result, we will arrange a free consultation with one of our doctors who will explain what the results mean for you and what your next steps should be.
